OmniTRAX Inc. has hired industry veteran Federico Diaz Page to join the company's industrial development team.

Diaz Page will focus on working with economic and industrial stakeholders to bring new business to OmniTRAX properties in Texas and Oklahoma. He will report to Ean Johnson, vice president of industrial development.

"Federico is a dynamic leader with more than 20 years of experience in a broad range of operational, strategic and commercial responsibilities. He brings expertise in rail transportation, economic development and industrial promotion to the new position," said Johnson in a press release.

Most recently, Diaz Page was executive VP of Texas Pacifico Transportation Ltd., a short-line operator in Texas, where he helped reduce the operating ratio from 104 percent to 56 percent in two years, while also increasing revenue cars.

Prior to working at Texas Pacifico, Diaz Page was VP at Intermodal Mexico S.A. de C.V., where he oversaw IMEX railroad services, transportation construction activities and transloading facilities operation. He also gained experience working at federal and state rail and economic development agencies.
