OmniTRAX Inc. has promoted Brian Ward to senior vice president of marketing, development and transload, and named Jeff Goutcher senior VP of sales.
The new appointments, effective immediately, support OmniTRAX growth and service objectives, company officials said in a press release.
Ward's promotion follows his service as president of OmniTRAX affiliate Winchester and Western Railroad. Prior to joining OmniTRAX, Ward was a transportation consultant advising import/export clients, multimodal clients and freight railroads. His career also includes stints as chief executive officer at Arrow Holdings LLC and HandsOn Jacksonville Inc., president of CSX's TRANSFLO Terminal Services group, and director of sales and marketing for CSX.
Goutcher joins OmniTRAX from the 430-mile Florida Gulf & Atlantic Railroad LLC, where he served as director of marketing and sales. He previously spent 22 years at CSX in various positions, including sales leadership roles in coal, chemicals, food and consumer commodity groups.
