OmniTRAX promotes Brown to EVP

OmniTRAX Inc. has promoted Nathan Brown to executive vice president of strategy and corporate development.

In his expanded role, Brown will report directly to OmniTRAX CEO Dean Piacente and lead the company’s acquisitions, research, strategy and oversight of OmniTRAX-controlled railroad real estate.

Brown began his rail career as an OmniTRAX research analyst and rose through the corporate ranks, most recently serving as senior VP of corporate strategy.

"As rail continues to power our nation’s evolving supply chains, it’s important that we cultivate new generations of leadership that bring dynamic perspectives to shape our long-term strategy. Nathan adds an analytical, forward-thinking approach that will play a key role in our sustained growth," Piacente said in a press release.

OmniTRAX's rail network continues to grow its North American carloads and reach. Since 2021, OmniTRAX has posted 40% growth, company officials said.

"By listening to customer needs and combining rail service with real estate development, OmniTRAX has brought $5 billion of customers to rail in the past five years alone. We are committed to providing new opportunities in our communities and throughout our network," said Brown.
