OmniTRAX promotes Sabatini, Anutooshkin to leadership roles

OmniTRAX Inc. officials yesterday announced several key leadership appointments, including the promotion of Sergio Sabatini to president and Gord Anutooshkin to chief operating officer.

Sabatini previously served as COO. Prior to joining the company in 2013, he worked for 18 years at Canadian Pacific, where he served in field operations, risk management and strategic planning. As OmniTRAX president, Sabatini will report to Chief Executive Officer Kevin Shuba.

A 30-year railroader, Anutooshkin joined OmniTRAX in 2014. Prior to his promotion, he was senior vice president of operations. Anutooshkin previously served in management roles at CP, including field operations and network management.

"Sergio and Gord have played vital roles in our record-setting growth, the repositioning of our rail assets and the industry-leading efficiency that has positioned OmniTRAX for sustained success," said Shuba in a press release.
