OneRail Coalition honors Canby Award winners
The OneRail Coalition has named Kyle Fields, a professional staffer for the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee, and Arielle Giordano, an assistant vice president at Canadian Pacific Kansas City, the recipients of the 2023 Canby Awards.
The Congressional Staff Award was presented to Fields, a counsel for the Senate's Subcommittee on Surface Transportation, Maritime, Freight and Ports Subcommittee. Giordano, CPKC's assistant vice president of U.S. government affairs, received the OneRail Member Award.
The Canby Awards are named for the organization’s former director, Anne Canby, and recognize an individual’s strong support for advancing rail in the United States.
"We are grateful for their individual contributions towards strengthening rail across the U.S., which have helped to support our common goal of growing the use of rail, while keeping goods and people moving smoothly," said OneRail Director Devon Barnhart in a news release.
