Operation Livesaver Inc. (OLI) last week announced the names of seven new state coordinators.
The new leaders completed a comprehensive orientation this summer and are now tasked with sharing rail safety education messages across their respective states. They coordinate volunteers who deliver rail-safety presentations to first responders, truck drivers, students and new drivers of automotive vehicles, OLI officials said in a press release.
"Each new coordinator brings a unique perspective and a strong commitment to safety, which are essential as we continue our efforts to educate the public about the importance of making safe choices around tracks and trains," said OLI Executive Director Rachel Maleh.
The following new coordinators are: Joe Sierputowski, Washington, D.C.; Jennifer Tyler, Georgia; Nan Arthur, Louisiana; Jay Gadon, New Hampshire; Jessica Keene, Oregon; Allyson Kilbride, Vermont; and Eric McEwuen, West Virginia.
