Operation Lifesaver Inc. this week announced eight new coordinators for its programs in seven states and Washington, D.C.
The new coordinators are Tom Covington, Alaska; Brian Owens, Florida; Jessica Mays, Kansas; Jennifer Grigsby, Louisiana; Stacey Beckett, Maryland; Debra Ashworth, Nebraska; Larry Hamilton, Nevada; and Kisha Anderson, Washington, D.C.
"OLI welcomes our newest state coordinators and applauds their commitment to making their communities safer," said OLI Executive Director Rachel Maleh in a press release. "We are thrilled to have these eight terrific safety and nonprofit experts on board."
OLI is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Since 1972, the nonprofit has engaged the public with safety education and awareness related to reducing collisions at grade crossings and trespassing on the tracks.
