Patriot Rail appoints Whiteman, Broyles to executive roles

Patriot Rail Co. LLC announced yesterday the promotion of Jennifer Whiteman to chief financial officer. Most recently the short-line holding company's vice president of finance and accounting, Whiteman has worked on the financial side of the rail industry for over 15 years.

In her former role with Patriot Rail, Whiteman led the company’s centralization of finance and corporate-wide SAP implementation.

"Given Jennifer's extensive knowledge of finance and the rail industry, I'm confident that she will build on the momentum that she has already established during her tenure and will be instrumental to the future growth of the company," said Patriot Rail President and Chief Executive Officer John Fenton.

Patriot Rail also announced the hiring of Justin Broyles as vice president of sales. The company brought on Broyles from R.J. Corman Railroad Group, where he held various business development positions, including his most recent role as assistant VP of sales and marketing.
