Patriot Rail appoints Zander CRO

Patriot Rail Co. LLC has named Harry Zander chief revenue officer.

Zander brings more than 30 years of knowledge and experience to the company's portfolio of leased assets, Patriot Rail officials said in a news release. 

He will be responsible for managing and coordinating Patriot Rail’s activities that generate revenue, identifying the most suitable markets and market segments, leading and guiding the organization’s commercial efforts, and steering mergers and acquisitions, they said.

Zander most recently was senior vice president of new product development at TrinityRail, where he implemented and managed cross-functional research and development efforts. He has also held various leadership positions with industry advocacy groups and is still active in the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers.

"Patriot Rail is in growth mode, and the addition of Harry Zander to our leadership team further cements Patriot as a short-line rail leader,” said John Fenton, Patriot Rail's chief executive officer. “Harry’s track record in identifying markets where short-line rail can be beneficial is essential to growing Patriot’s footprint.”
