Patriot Rail appoints two execs

Patriot Rail Corp. recently named Robert Schellig Jr. vice president of law and Matt McGrath, director of operations integration.
Schellig previously served Canadian National Railway Co. and its U.S. subsidiaries for 14 years in various capacities, including corporate general manager in the executive department and corporate attorney in the legal department. He also was an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Lapeer County, Mich., prosecutor's office and practiced law privately.
McGrath previously served Patriot Rail subsidiary the Utah Central Railway as an operations manager, trainmaster, station agent, brakeman, conductor, engineer and purchasing manager. He previously managed KLLM Transport Services’ truck fleet and dedicated logistics services.
In addition to the Utah Central, Patriot Rail owns and operates the Tennessee Southern Railroad, Butte, Anaconda & Pacific Railway, and Sacramento Valley Railroad.
