Patriot Rail names Hall COO

Patriot Rail Co. last week hired Jerry Hall to serve as chief operating officer.

Hall has more than three decades of rail industry experience, most recently as vice president of transportation at Norfolk Southern Railway. At Patriot Rail, Hall will be responsible for safety, performance and service execution of operations nationwide, Patriot Rail officials said in a press release.

While at NS, Hall's leadership positions included VP of mechanical, VP of network and service management and VP of intermodal operations.

"Jerry’s talent and deep rail industry background will drive Patriot Rail to the next level of operational excellence," said Patriot Rail CEO John Fenton.
