Patriot Rail Co. LLC this week announced two promotions and an addition to the company's commercial sales team.

The promotions involve Justin Broyles, former vice president of sales, who has been named chief commercial officer; and Alin Campian, former assistant VP of pricing and  yield management, who has been named VP commercial strategy, according to a Patriot Rail press release.

Broyles has more than 16 years of experience in the rail transportation and services industry, specializing in the creation and implementation of innovative sales and marketing strategies, customer relationship management and sales training.

Prior to joining Patriot Rail, Broyles held business development positions at R. J. Corman Railroad Group, including assistant VP, sales and marketing. In his most recent position at Patriot Rail, he led the company's commercial efforts of the transportation and service divisions.

Before he joined Patriot Rail, Campian held progressively responsible roles in finance at CSX and Florida East Coast Railway. Since 2015, Campian as a VP spearheaded the effort to professionalize and standardize pricing and yield management for the company and its 18 affiliates.

In his new role, Campian will lead all market research, strategic planning, business development and yield management for the transportation and service divisions.

In another personnel move, Patriot Rail hired Robert Turnauckas as director of sales and marketing. Most recently, Turnauckas was chief marketing officer for the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (Metrolink). He has more than 40 years of experience growing companies' clientele and developing complementary lines of business.

"Justin and Alin have proven themselves invaluable to the Patriot Rail organization, specifically during our recent efforts to establish and promote the company's new rail service divisions," said President and Chief Executive Officer John Fenton. "And being able to add a transportation marketing expert such as Bob to this already talented team gives me even more confidence in terms of the growth potential of both our service companies and our existing rail lines."
