Keolis North America has installed Jannet Walker-Ford to its corporate board as chairperson. Walker-Ford is an executive with WSP USA, an engineering and professional services consultancy, where she leads the firm’s transit and rail business. She has more than two decades of expertise including management consulting, technology, mobility and transportation systems.

LJA Engineering has named John Jerome vice president of the rail division. Jerome has more than 30 years of multibillion-dollar construction project experience, according to a news release. He "excels at forging strategic partnerships with stakeholders, contractors and government officials," according to an LJA press release. "Together, our combined expertise will enable us to offer comprehensive services for our transportation clients and position us for continued growth and success,” said LJA CEO James Ross.

USA Rail Terminals (USART) has hired James Lund Jr. as director of projects and planning. Lund has 12 years of experience in various disciplines of railroad infrastructure construction. In his new role, Lund will help align project initiatives with the company's overarching strategic objectives. "My experience will help put USART in a position to respond to customer growth needs much faster than industry norms," Lund said in a news release.

The San Diego Association of Governments' (SANDAG) board has appointed Mario Orso as CEO. Orso has more than 32 years of experience at the California Department of Transportation, most recently as chief deputy director of District 11. Last year, he was appointed acting Caltrans District 12 director in Orange County. Orso will begin his three-year contract with the agency on June 17.

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) has appointed Cleveland Mayor Paul Koomar as president and Lauren Welch as vice president of its board. The appointments follow board elections held at the annual meeting in March. Welch is the interim director of communications at Say Yes Cleveland.
