Tealinc LLC has appointed Nathan Chilton director of rail-car leasing and sales. He will be based in the freight rail-car owner, lessor and rail transportation solutions company’s office in Broomfield, Colorado. "By leveraging Nate’s rail-car industry expertise, financial and business acumen and customer-centric philosophies, we are excited to significantly grow our rail-car portfolio and enhance our rail-car offerings," said Tealinc President Julie Mink in a press release.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) leaders this week expressed their condolences on the recent death of retired U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson. She was 88. Johnson was a “beloved icon” in Texas, where she served the 30th congressional district for 30 years and played “an instrumental role” in the DART system’s development, agency officials said in a press release. Johnson assisted DART in winning several federal grant agreements to help fund the creation and expansion of its light-rail system. In August 2023, she was awarded the first DART Legacy Award for her leadership and support of the agency and public transportation throughout the country. "Congresswoman Johnson was an invaluable advocate for and partner to DART since her time as a Texas state representative in 1972. We will be forever grateful for her service to our community and DART," said DART Chair Gary Slagel.
