Progressive Railroading hires Connatser, Kavanaugh

Progressive Railroading recently added an editor and a sales manager to the magazine’s staff.

Grace Connatser has joined the editorial team as associate editor. She will work across Progressive Railroading’s information delivery platform — from Daily News to the monthly magazine to premium subscription RailPrime to live events.

Connatser most recently served as a reporter for the Wisconsin State Farmer. She’s a graduate of Marquette University, where she majored in journalism and digital media, and worked as an intern on a fellowship in public service journalism.

Also, Kristine Kavanaugh has joined the sales team as a national sales manager. She’ll be working with the Progressive Railroading sales team to analyze data and grow sales throughout her territory.

Kavanaugh most recently served as northeast regional sales manager with Nesco Specialty Rentals/Custom Truck One Source, where she handled the accounts of their largest regional customers in the utility industry.
