R. J. Corman Railroad Co. has named Shannon Drown as the railroad group's assistant vice president of commercial development.

Drown will lead the commercial development team, as well as sales and account management for R. J. Railroad Co., Executive Vice President of Commercial Affairs Justin Broyles announced in a press release.

Drown has more than 10 years of experience in the railroad industry specializing in industrial development, supply chain management and sales. In 2019, she joined R. J. Corman as director of commercial development.

Prior to joining R. J. Corman, Drown held leadership positions at Union Pacific Railroad and CSX.

Drown's "leadership skills, account management experience and extensive knowledge of the railroad industry and supply chains are a perfect match" for her new role, Broyles said.
