Yesterday, Railinc announced it appointed Paul Neville vice president of information technology and E. Allen West, VP of business services, effective Jan. 1.
Since joining Railinc in 1999, Neville has served in various management capacities. He previously held marketing, operating and business positions at BNSF Railway Co., Santa Fe Railway and Conrail.
West also joined Railinc in 1999 and has held various management positions. He previously served as director of information technology at CSX Corp. subsidiary Sea-Land Service Inc., and held various management positions at Tenneco Inc. and Norfolk Southern Corp.
“Railinc and its customers will benefit as each business group will have continuity of leadership and new strategic oversight,” said Railinc President Jim Gardner in a prepared statement.
Railinc provides IT services to North American railroads, shippers, equipment owners and suppliers, and manages e-commerce Web site Steelroads.com.
