The Railway Association of Canada (RAC) on Jan. 10 announced the departure of President and Chief Executive Officer Marc Brazeau, effective Feb. 28.
Brazeau will step down after nearly seven years of dedicated service.
“We thank Marc for his leadership and all his contributions, and we wish him well in his future endeavors," said RAC Chair Janet Drysdale in a press release.
During Brazeau's tenure, RAC achieved success on numerous fronts, including industry advocacy, railway training programs, awareness campaigns and industry leading research and communications, RAC officials said.
An announcement regarding the new RAC president and CEO will be made in the near future, they added.
