Railway Supply Institute elects 2013 officers, new board members

The Railway Supply Institute (RSI) recently announced its 2013 officers and elected two new members to its nine-person board.
Chicago Freight Car Leasing Co. Chairman Fred Sasser will serve as RSI board chair; Strato Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Mike Foxx was named vice chairman; and Wabtec Corp. Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jeff Stearns was appointed secretary/treasurer.
Meanwhile, Amsted Rail Co. VP of Industry Relations Patrick Ameen and GATX Corp.-Rail Senior VP and Chief Commercial Officer Tom Ellman were appointed to the board.
Board members serve a three-year term.
