Yesterday, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) announced it appointed Elizabeth Bradford director of marketing in the agency’s public and government affairs division.

Bradford will be responsible for initiating programs to improve ridership and enhance SEPTA’s image; developing marketing and promotional strategies to introduce and create awareness of new vehicles, enhanced station amenities and expanded service; developing promotional materials; and coordinating with outside organizations, SEPTA officials said in a prepared statement.

Prior to joining the agency, Bradford served as marketing director at media planning and buying company Harmelin Media, where she was SEPTA’s lead media planner and buyer for the past five years.

Her professional experience also includes a stint as assistant marketing manager of Lenox Collections, a division of Lenox Inc.
