Engineering firm STV Inc. recently promoted Peter Gentle from senior associate to vice president. He will direct major transportation projects for the company’s national Transportation and Infrastructure Division.
With more than 30 years’ experience managing the design and construction of U.S. transportation systems, Gentle has served as an engineer for the Delaware River Port Authority, Port Authority Transit Corp. (PATCO), Conrail and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Since joining STV in 2000, he has managed New Jersey Transit’s Newark light-rail extension to Broad Street Station, PATCO’s shop and yard rehabilitation in Lindenwold, N.J., and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority’s Girard Avenue light-rail infrastructure renewal.
