Earlier this week, Sacramento (California) Regional Transit District’s (RT) board named David Sander chairman and Roger Dickinson, vice chair.

Sander, who was elected to the Rancho Cordova City Council in 2002, has been an RT board member for one year. A Sacramento County supervisor since 1994 and a past RT board chair, Dickinson has served on the RT board twice — from 1983 to 1990, and from 1999 to the present.

Also: The city of Elk Grove selected City Councilman Rick Soares to serve on the RT board.
