The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) recently named David Miller commercial development manager to oversee the development and congestion management division.
He will be responsible for helping the authority identify areas that have high development potential and enhance public transportation investments. Miller’s job duties include implementing strategies for developing public and private development partnerships.
He most recently served as chief operating officer of DBO Development Co., where he was responsible for project permit processing, construction and leasing for commercial projects. Miller previously served as director of development for Transpacific Development Co., and as community development director and public works director for several California cities. He also has managed his own real estate and planning consulting firm.
