RailAmerica Inc. has appointed Bill Schroeder director of marketing and sales for the Northeast Region and Douglas Low, manager of marketing and sales for the New England Central Railroad.
Schroeder most recently served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Genesee & Wyoming Inc. During his more than 34-year rail industry career, he has held various positions at the Milwaukee Road, Union Pacific Railroad, Canadian National Railway and Pacific Fruit Express Co.
Most recently a principal at Management Services, Low has 24 years' experience in the rail industry. He previously was manager-GTW chemicals and aggregates marketing for CN and market manager-Automotive Service Group for CSX Transportation.
RailAmerica owns and operates 42 regionals and short lines in the United States and Canada.
