TNW Corp. yesterday announced it has promoted Bobby Franklin to vice president of transportation and appointed Joey Evans director of business support and development.

As VP of transportation, Franklin will lead strategic performance initiatives for TNW's rail holdings, including short lines and logistics centers in Texas. He will also focus on corporate safety, TNW officials said in a press release.

Franklin has 18 years of rail industry leadership experience. Most recently, he was TNW's director of railway operations. Previously, he served in leadership positions at the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad and CSX.

As director of business support and development, Evans will build corporate relationships to support customers, communities and economic development initiatives. He also will provide internal support through customer data analysis and technology liaison.

Evans most recently was TNW's director of customer success. He has 19 years of rail industry experience, including previous positions at Norfolk Southern Railway and Genesee & Wyoming Inc.
