TNW names Hunter VP of finance

TNW Corp. has hired Dave Hunter to serve as vice president of finance for the operator of short lines and logistics centers. 

He will be responsible for fiduciary oversight of TNW’s assets, controls, accounting and measurement processes, and treasury function. Hunter will provide strategic financial, operating and budgetary recommendations to Chief Executive Officer Paul Treangen to achieve the company's overall business and strategic plan, TNW officials said in a news release.

Hunter has experience and leadership at various private-equity backed and public accounting companies. His prior roles include VP of finance and controller at Medecision Inc., and corporate controller at Layered Tech Inc.

"We are pleased to have Dave join our team," said Treangen. "His acumen in finance and leadership will help us drive process improvements and continue to strengthen our financial performance as the company continues to grow.
