TTCI names Bennett, Lippy to director roles

Jeffrey Bennett and Josh Lippy have joined the Transportation Technology Center Inc. (TTCI) as director of business development-passenger and emerging technologies and director of business development-North American freight railroad, respectively.

Bennett most recently led the District of Columbia Department of Transportation’s transit delivery division as head of transit. His prior experience includes roles as president of the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials and assistant vice president of rail operations for the Denton County Transportation Authority. 

Progressive Railroading recognized Bennett as a Rising Star in 2018. This year, he won the International Transportation & Automotive Summit’s Top 100 Leaders in Transportation and Automotive Award.

Lippy joins TTCI with 13 years of transportation experience, including stints as a freight and intermodal rail specialist at Navis, director of business operations at RailcarRX and director of industry relations at Railinc, which along with TTCI is a subsidiary of the Association of American Railroads.
