TNW Corp. has hired Bobby Franklin as general manager of the Texas North Western Railway (TXNW) in Sunray, Texas.

Franklin has extensive experience in the rail industry, most recently serving as vice president at the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad. His previous roles include chief transportation at the New Orleans railroad, as well as terminal manager and superintendent during a 12-year career at CSX.

At TXNW, Franklin is responsible for daily operations, training and managing employees, enforcing safety compliance, providing customer service and fostering partnerships with community leaders, TNW officials said in a press release.

"The addition of Bobby as general manager at TXNW opens many new opportunities for our company," said VP of Operations Jason Gill. "With his extensive background and experience in the rail industry, Bobby understands what is required to grow our operations and serve our customers effectively."
