Two rail industry suppliers recently appointed vice presidents in charge of legal matters. RailWorks Corp. named Daniel Friedman senior VP, general counsel and secretary, and The Andersons Inc. named Naran Burchinow VP, general counsel and secretary.
Friedman most recently served in law firm Buchanan Ingersoll PC's construction industry practice, and litigation and franchise, and distribution sections. Burchinow most recently served GE Commercial Distribution Finance Corp. as operations counsel. He previously served GE predecessor companies ITT Commercial Finance Corp. and Deutsche Financial Services Corp. as general counsel, Continental Bank NA as senior attorney, and Chicago and Boston legal firms as a general corporate and business attorney.
RailWorks offers various products, and construction and maintenance services to the freight- and transit-rail industries. The Andersons provides rail-car marketing and rail equipment leasing services.
