The Transbay Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) board recently elected Nathaniel Ford and Jerry Hill to serve one-year terms as chair and vice chair, respectively.
Executive Director of San Francisco Municipal Railway, Ford currently serves on the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Authority board, which oversees Caltrain. He previously was general manager and chief executive officer of Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.
San Mateo County Supervisor Hill also serves on the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Authority board as well as the San Mateo County Transit board. President of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, he previously served as a San Mateo City Council member and mayor.
TJPA is a collaboration of bay area government and transportation agencies committed to replacing San Francisco’s Transbay Terminal with a new Transbay Transit Center to meet area transportation needs.
