TriMet names Shin deputy general counsel

The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) has hired Michael Shin as deputy general counsel.
He most recently served as senior assistant attorney general in the appellate division of the Oregon Department of Justice. Before that, he worked at Dechert LLP in Boston. Shin also has served as both an assistant United States attorney and an assistant public defender in Montana.
Throughout his 13-year legal career, Shin has worked in all aspects of litigation in state and federal courts, TriMet officials said in a press release.
