Tucker to head Virginia rail and public transportation department

Virginia Gov. Timothy Kaine recently appointed Matthew Tucker director of the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation.

Most recently chief operating officer for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority, Tucker previously served as deputy public transit director for the Arizona Public Transit Department and assistant general manager for the Greater Richmond Transit Co.
