Most recently chief financial officer for QualServ Corp., Tynes has more than 25 years’ experience in finance, including expertise on operational issues, and domestic and international mergers and acquisitions.
He previously served as corporate controller for Great Lakes Transportation and held various finance positions at General Electric Co.
RailAmerica owns and operates 42 regionals and short lines in the United States and Canada.
