UP appoints Totusek, Weber and Putz as VPs in finance department

Union Pacific Railroad has named Jeffrey Totusek vice president, controller and chief accounting officer, and Edward Weber, VP of planning and analysis. The appointments take effect Jan. 1.

Currently assistant VP of financial analysis, Totusek will succeed Richard Putz, who will become VP of finance. Totusek joined UP in 1985 and Putz joined the Class I in 1977.

Weber most recently served as AVP of planning and analysis. Since joining UP in 1980, he has held various internal audit, human resources, and marketing and sales positions.
