VHB appoints Byrne senior project manager of train controls

Transportation engineering and planning firm Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. recently named Terry Byrne senior project manager of train controls.

A 33-year transit and rail industry veteran, Byrne has helped Penn Central Railroad, Conrail and MTA Metro-North Railroad install, test, commission and design signal and control systems. He also helped implement a new operations control center at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal.
