Van Schaick joins Watco as AVP of government affairs

Watco Cos. L.L.C. has named Jeff Van Schaick assistant vice president of government affairs. He will be responsible for maintaining relationships with governmental agencies and key individuals, and representing the company's interests in legislative matters.

Van Schaick was an associate with Chambers, Conlon & Hartwell L.L.C. in Washington, D.C., for the past five years, helping the firm with short-line legislative issues. He previously was a public affairs assistant with Foley & Lardner L.L.P. in D.C. and a field director with the Maryland Republican Party in Annapolis, Md.
