Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) recently named H. Charles Woodruff deputy general manager of finance/chief financial officer, effective Oct. 17.
He will be responsible for overseeing the authority’s annual operating and capital budget, and managing the accounting, financial management and treasury offices.
Woodruff has more than 30 years’ financial experience. He most recently served as assistant superintendent of the department of financial services and CFO for Stafford County Public Schools in Virginia.
