Watco Transportation Services L.L.C. recently named Scott Henderson general manager of the Pacific Sun Railroad and Duane Stephenson, GM of the Baton Rouge Southern Railroad to succeed Henderson.

After joining Watco in 2009, Henderson first served the Grand Elk Railroad, then became assistant GM for the South Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad before taking the helm as GM of the Baton Rouge Southern. He previously held various positions with Conrail and CN.

Stephenson served Genesee & Wyoming Inc. the past five years in various management positions, most recently as operations manager. He began his railroading career in 2004 with Lodestar Logistics as logistics coordinator.

Baton Rouge Southern operates 1.5 miles of track in Baton Rouge, La., that’s primarily used by a local industry for its plastic and chemical divisions. Pacific Sun Railroad operates 62 miles of track, including a segment from Stuart Mesa to San Onofre, Calif.
