Florida East Coast Railway L.L.C. has named Andrew Westhoff vice president of sales and marketing.

He most recently was director of yield management-intermodal for CSX Transportation, where he served for more than 20 years in various finance and commercial roles. Prior to joining CSXT Intermodal, Westhoff held various accounting positions with Ernst & Young. He has maintained his Certified Public Accountant license throughout his business career.
 
FEC's 2012 initiatives include starting direct rail service to the Port of Miami, breaking ground on an intermodal container transfer facility at Port Everglades, and growing intermodal and carload business. Westhoff’s background "will help us achieve success with each of these goals,” said FEC President and Chief Executive Officer James Hertwig in a prepared statement.
