Kansas City Southern recently appointed Paul Weyandt senior vice president of finance and treasurer. Responsible for the railroad’s treasury, insurance, taxes, credit and collections functions, Weyandt also will continue to serve as interim chief financial officer of TFM S.A. de C.V. until KCS names a permanent CFO.
Weyandt joined KCS in 2001 as vice president and treasurer. He previously served as a consultant to GE Capital Corp.’s Structured Finance Group, and spent 23 years with BNSF Railway Co. and its predecessor The Burlington Northern Railway Co. in various executive financial positions.
