OmniTRAX Inc. yesterday announced that Stacey Posey will lead the Winchester and Western Railroad Co. (W&W) as president.

Former chief operating officer for superior traffic services at OmniTRAX, Posey brings 19 years of Class I and regional railroading experience to the position, OmniTRAX officials said in a press release. OmniTRAX is W&W's parent company.

Posey will also serve as regional engineer for OmniTRAX’s central region, overseeing maintenance and capital work for OmniTRAX lines spanning from California to New Jersey.

W&W, which operates 100 miles of track in Virginia and New Jersey, offers connections to CSX and Norfolk Southern Railway.

"The W&W has a deep history of serving the eastern United States, and as companies prioritize reliable domestic supply chains to meet evolving market needs, it has the power to keep U.S. goods moving," said Posey in a press release.
