Global Railway Industries Ltd. recently appointed Garry Zurowski to its board.

A partner at accounting firm Collins Barrow in Calgary, Alberta, Zurowski has served in that role the past 33 years.

“Garry brings to Global’s board his wealth of experience in public accounting, which will be a great asset as a member of the board’s audit committee,” said Global Railway Chief Executive Officer Terry McManaman in a prepared statement.

Through subsidiaries Rafna Industries Ltd., G&B Specialties Inc., Bach-Simpson Corp. and Prime Railway Services, Global Railway supplies event recorder monitoring/control systems, train speedometers, track and signal components, and rail gear.
