Canadian National Railway and Wisconsin Central Ltd. (WC) announced they will offer a new join-rate intermodal service called “The Superior Connection” from Chicago to Superior, Wis.
WC’s route through Wisconsin offers the shortest mileage from Chicago to CN’s connection at Superior. WC trains will operate five days a week from the Harvey, Ill., intermodal terminal.
The premium intermodal service is scheduled to begin April 1 over WC’s recently upgraded main line.
