Yesterday, Union Pacific Corp. subsidiary ShipCarsNow announced it developed ShipCarsNow Mobile, the industry’s first mobile application, according to the company.
The application enables auto dealers and remarketers to obtain multi-modal auto transport quotes from any smartphone. In addition, ShipCarsNow Mobile provides users a link to register with ShipCarsNow.com to access auto transport tips and industry news, obtain quotes and track shipments.
ShipCarsNow Mobile is available free of charge for iPhone and Android™ smartphones, and soon will be available for Blackberry® devices.
“The new ShipCarsNow mobile app demonstrates our continued dedication to making auto transport easy for auto traders,” said ShipCarsNow President Roland Fortner in a prepared statement.
