Union Pacific appoints Krehbiel, Whited to new AVP positions (2/2/2005)

Yesterday, Union Pacific Railroad promoted Julie Krehbiel to assistant vice president and general manager of subsidiary Union Pacific Distribution Services (UPDS), and named Beth Whited AVP of automotive-General Motors to succeed Krehbiel.

Reporting to Senior AVP of Business Development Doug Glass, Krehbiel will be responsible for UPDS’ rail management, third-party intermodal, carrier and rail-to-truck transload services. Since joining UP in 1988, she has served in various positions in the automotive, chemicals, industrial products, and market development and sales departments.

Reporting to VP and GM of Autos Eric Butler, Whited will be responsible for account management, strategic planning, contract development and customer relations for large automotive customer General Motors Corp. She most recently served as AVP of business planning. Since joining UP in 1987, Whited has served in various corporate finance, accounting and investor relations capacities.
