Upcoming virtual summit on freight-rail trends free to RailPrime subscribers

On Tuesday, Sept. 26, Progressive Railroading will host a virtual summit that's free to RailPrime subscribers.
The summit — "North American Freight Rail: Unpacking 2023 Trends" — will feature an overview of the freight-rail market's journey from the beginning of the year to the present, as well as a look into what the final quarter of 2023 may hold.
Featured presenters will be Adriene Bailey, a partner at Oliver Wyman who leads the North American rail sector; and Tony Hatch, an independent transportation analyst and consultant. Hatch also is the program consultant for Progressive Railroading’s RailTrends® conference. RailTrends serves as the summit's sponsor.
Bailey will share her insights into the dynamic changes within freight rail, shedding light on the industry’s strategic shift toward a growth-oriented agenda.
Hatch's presentation will address the economy’s impact on freight-railroad growth, labor and demand; the shifting regulatory climate; the elevated profiles of short lines and regionals; and recent changes in rail-industry leadership.
