Germany’s division of ALSTOM Transport recently awarded a $28.8 million contract to SAB WABCO Group AB to supply brake systems for 55 six-car trains for Stockholm Transport’s X60 project.
SAB WABCO would provide engineering and production of bogie brake parts, brake-control and coupler systems, and wheels. The brake systems will be produced at SAB WABCO’s Italy, France and Germany facilities.
Deliveries are expected to begin in early 2004 and be complete in 2006.
