The State Railway of Thailand recently awarded a $70 million contract to Bombardier Transportation to supply and install an INTERFLO program featuring EBI Lock 950 computer-based interlocking systems, wayside equipment and communication systems on four new lines.

Traveling into Bangkok, the lines comprise 108 miles of double track and include 33 stations.

Bombardier’s EBI Lock features a modular design to offer more flexibility and adaptability to different operational principles, according to a prepared statement.
