MTA New York City Transit recently awarded a $48.4 million contract to RailWorks Corp. subsidiary L.K. Comstock & Co. Inc. to complete the second phase of the Flushing Line signal rehabilitation project.

L.K. Comstock will install and test wayside and relay room signal equipment for the Queensboro Plaza, 33rd Street and 74th Street interlockings in Queens.

Scheduled to begin later this summer, the project will be complete in July 2008.

In late 2003, L.K. Comstock completed phase one of the Flushing Line signal system rehabilitation between the 111th Street interlocking to Main Street.
