Canadian trade council recognizes Carmanah with 2005 export awards

Carmanah Technologies recently received the 2005 “Innovation Export Award” and was named “2005 Canadian Exporter of the Year” by International Trade Canada.

The innovation award is presented to a company that has successfully conceived, developed and launched a new and innovative product or service in the science and technology field. The exporter of the year award honors Carmanah’s overall excellence as a Canadian exporter.

Carmanah supplies solar power systems and equipment, solar-powered light-emitting diode (LED) lighting and LED-illuminated signage to transit and port authorities, airports and government agencies.
